New Mayor Sworn

Mayor ProTem (and re-elected Alderman) Otto Griffin swore in Glen Sedrick as the new mayor of Qulin on Friday. Those attending the ceremony were Aldermen Linda Johnson, Cheryl Carter and Barbara Head. Felicity Brady of Ozark Foothills Regional Planning Commission was present as were Wendell and Sue Hendrix, Diana Baker, Bob Baker, and Scottie Baker. 
Otto Griffin also swore in re-elected alderman Cheryl Carter for her third term as Alderman of Ward 1.
Mayor Glen Sedrick’s first official order of business was to swear in Otto Griffin to his re-elected position as Alderman.
The previous mayor, Gary Long, was unable to attend the ceremony.

Ward 2 Candidates
Otto Griffin and J.D. Benton have signed up to run in Qulin’s Ward 2 for the April 6 election.
