The Family History Fair, co-sponsored by the Jefferson County Genealogical Society and Jefferson County Library, is a FREE EVENT that will take place at the Jefferson County Library, 5680 State Road PP, High Ridge, MO 63049.
Presentations on the agenda will include:
Introduction to Genealogy – presented by Ken Bunselmeyer – 10:00 AM
Southern Research – presented by Mindy Hudson – 10:00 AM
Colonial Research – presented by Dan Vornbarg – 11:30 AM
Genealogy/History Trivia (including prizes) – 11:30 AM
Inter-Library Loan and Latter Day Saints Rental – Christine Merseal – 1:00 PM
Good Mourning! Customs of Death and Mourning in the Victorian Era - Edna Dieterle – 1:00 PM
Archived Records at the National Personnel Records Center – Bryan McGraw, Assistant Director, Archival Programs - 2:30 PM
Registration is not required, but lecture space is limited. Be sure to arrive and sign up early for the presentations the day of the event.
